The Green Chair Project reuses essential furnishings donated by the community to help neighbors in need. Some facing the challenges of homelessness, crisis or disaster. This afternoon, we met with Margot Huffhines, Development Coordinator at The Green Chair Project . Our goal, to plan events which will connect Hayes Barton Place with The Green Chair Project. This collaboration will ensure that future HBP residents are informed and educated about how they can donate items that will go to a worthy cause as they prepare for their move to Raleigh’s newest Life Plan Community late 2024. We call that a win/win!
