Hayes Barton Place has achieved an industry first, becoming the first senior living community in the United States to earn the Seed Oil Free Certified™ Cooking Oil designation from the Seed Oil Free Alliance.

Opened in January 2025 and operated by Liberty Senior Living, Hayes Barton Place reimagined wellness focused dining by eliminating industrial seed oils such as soybean, canola, corn, and sunflower oil from its kitchens.

The culinary team now prepares house-made alternatives using certified oils, including olive oil-based dressings, vinaigrettes, and beef tallow mayonnaise, producing enhanced flavor and healthier options.

Hayes Barton Places dining philosophy centers on from scratch cooking, organic and locally sourced ingredients, and wholesome alternatives. The community is committed to ensuring meals are delicious and aligned with its culture of holistic wellness and healthier aging without compromise.
